Free In Home Estimates Blackthorn's Steps To Your Dream Project!Step1. Phone 607-754-3221 or email info@blackthorncreative.com and make first contact with a Blackthorn Guy.Step 2. Initial Meeting, we briefly discuss the project at hand. We will ask some questions about the job. Study work plans, or detail measure the project area. Then, together, we will discuss the feasibility and design of the project. Step 3. Second Meeting. Some preliminary 3D Drawings and estimate of the project will be given to you the customer. At this time we will have a good quality detailed discussion on all design elements of the project. To help out we’ll bring some; hardware, and millwork props for a quick show and tell. Don’t worry, the 3D design of the project is done buy computer, so design changes are simple. Blackthorn Creative Woodwork will do as many design changes as needed to bring you your dream projectAt this time we ask to please be as honest and candid about what you expect from us. Blackthorn Creative Woodwork will work with you in any way to make your dream project work within your budget. Unlike other contractors, if you would like to become involved in the project we will help you do so. Example: we are custom building your dream kitchen. Your are an accomplished floor putter-inner. We will help you set up and maybe even borrow some of our tools to finish that part of the Kitchen project. We want you involved in the project. A close relationship between the customer and us makes it easy to give you exactly what you want! Your satisfaction is our number one priority!Step 4. Design, Design, Design! We will keep designing, on your input until it is perfect. It may take a few visits, but in the end it will be perfect. We’ll set up another meeting, with a detailed estimate to go with the design. At this time a copy of a contract will be given to the customer for review (NEVER SIGN ANYTHING YOU DON’T READ FIRST). Step 5. To continue the process, the customer will contact us. A meeting will be set up only when the design is to the customer’s specific details, with a detailed estimate, a contract, with working drawings can be signed. A down payment, and copies of all documents will be exchanged. Step 6. OHHHW BABY! It begins, the beginning of the crafting of your custom cabinets or furniture. Everyday will be dedicated to your project and your project alone. Updates with digital pictures daily, if required, will be given to you our customer all the way through the finish process. Step 7. During the projects Finishing stage we will contact you to up a delivery or install date. Step 8. THIS IS IT! Delivery, or install will begin. Remember if we are doing a major remodel, such as a Beautiful New Dream Kitchen. We will not leave your job for another until we are complete! Step 9. Sadly, the end. Only after you are completely satisfied, handshakes, hugs, and yes maybe a tear or two.
